DESCRIPTION:Tuesday Night Live: HERBIE // JOE FROST – Beaten Track \nJoe Frost and I (Herbie) would like to welcome to the first gig of our newest (and coolest) project yet. \nOur long time musical companionship has taken many endeavours in the world of jazz\, hiphop\, funk and so on\, though our latest has taken us on a deep dive into the world of loops\, synths and electronica. \nRecorded at our “home studio”\, AKA: the dining room\, we have been getting lost in layers of electronic sound scapes and drum loops\, whilst trying to keep elements of our more acoustic\, live background. DESCRIPTION:Tuesday Night Live: MAMBO JAMBO \nDoors 7pm Music 7.15pm \nMusical explorers and eclectic duo Mambo Jambo have an infectious passion for playing live\, delighting audiences with their upbeat shows\, their original songs and all their instruments! Their music fuses magically crafted elements of roots\, jazz\, world and folk. Think carnivals\, fiestas\, hoedowns\, and speakeasies – all in one show! \nA fabulous musical treat is in store wherever they roll up\, their tour bus packed to the brim with instruments. Frankie is on sax\, vocals\, clarinet\, flute\, uke\, guitar\, and Pete on guitar\, vocal\, banjo\, tres (traditional Cuban guitar)\, accordion\, & between them all kinds of percussion including suitcase and spoons! \nPete and Frankie have appeared on various BBC Local Radio shows\, BBC Look North\, and MTV Asia\, and have been gathering admirers at shows & festivals the length and breadth of the country. UK festivals include Shetland\, Broadstairs\, Sidmouth\, Beverley Folk Festivals\, Manchester\, Hull & Cork Jazz Festival\, Musicport\, Knockengorroch\, International Eisteddfod\, Costa del Folk etc. They’ve toured France\, Ireland\, Netherlands and Sweden\, and played gigs as far afield as Havana\, Borneo and Reykjavik. \nAdvance tickets £8/£7 concessions (students + unwaged) available from HEART reception and online. \nOn the Night £10

DESCRIPTION:Tuesday Night Live: PICK n MIX \nDoors 7pm. Music 7.15pm \nPick n Mix are a Leeds-based four-piece acoustic group playing a range of covers (some well-known\, some not so) as well as originals\, across a broad range of genres. \nFeaturing Nick Davis\, John Hulbert\, Dani Humphreys and Vics Marshall – who all met through their local community group\, Music From The Attic – they blend acoustic guitars with intricate harmonies\, giving a new take of the covers they perform. \nThe name ‘Pick n Mix’ comes through the fact that their act tries to pick (and mix) a range of songs to suit most tastes – as well as the fact that the quartet pick and mix their lead vocalist\, featured guitarist etc depending on the song. \nHaving performed at a host of local venues since their formation in 2022 (as either a quartet\, trio or duo)\, they are very much looking forward to returning as a foursome to play at HEART on 30 June. \nAdvance tickets £8/£7 concession (students + unwaged) available from HEART reception and online \nOn the Night tickets £10
