DESCRIPTION:Tuesday Night Live: MUSIC FROM THE FLOOR \nDoors 7pm  Music 7.15pm – 9.15pm \nMUSIC FROM THE FLOOR is the free-jazz project of Louis Berthoud\, alongside Tom O’Brien (piano) and Elliot Roffe (double bass).  \nThe group takes influence from jazz greats like Thelonious Monk & Ornette Coleman; while also borrowing a great deal from the worlds of free improvisation and experimental music in general\, producing a music that is open\, spontaneous & deeply rhythmic.   \nThe group’s original music blends extended improvisational passages with composed material in a fluid and exciting way; and a similar treatment is offered to their playing of standards. \nTonight at Heart\, Music from the Floor will play one set of originals; and one set of jazz standards.” \nAdvance tickets £8/£7 concessions available from HEART reception and online \nOn the Night £10
