DESCRIPTION:TUESDAY NIGHT LIVE: Fishing4Compliments + Lazy Girlfriend \nDoors 7pm Music 7.15pm \nFishing4Compliments are a Huddersfield-based indie-folk band who have been bringing their quirky\, uplifting sounds to live music venues\, pubs and festivals across the North of England and beyond for over a decade. \nThe band formed around lead singer-songwriter’s Eileen’s emotive & enigmatic songs with all members sharing a passion for developing and creating their own distinctive\, harmony laden sound emerging through the eclectic mix of influences on which they draw including The Beatles\, Tom Petty\, Mark Knopfler\, The Cure\, The Smiths and The Cranberries to name but a few. \nTheir debut album ‘Off The Isle of Somewhere\,’ produced by The Dunwells was warmly received by reviewers with descriptions of their music including words such as; upbeat\, optimistic\, joyful\, bright and breezy and irresistible” with a clear common thread of defining the band’s songs as catchy\, hook-laden folk-pop. Their return visit to HEART comes ahead of the release of their second album which they can’t wait to share with the world later this year.
