Tuesday Night Live: SONGWRITERS’ NIGHT

Doors 7.30pm Music 7.45pm

This evening TNL is showcasing four singer songwriters.

EVA KISS: With powerful yet soft vocals accompanied by gritty guitars, punching basslines and tear-jerking lyrics, Eva Kiss transforms the stage with energetic vulnerability. The band recalls notes of 90s grunge, all the way from Nirvana to Alanis Morrisette. Raised in a strict religion, Eva offers a unique narrative as she dives into her experience            being queer and an outcast from her faith. A blend of teenage angst and painful maturity paired with melodies you will go home humming. With her debut EP “Dreamland” featuring raw emotion and singer/songwriter excellence, Eva’s live sound and future releases will transform the songs written in her bedroom to heavy soundscapes with a thrashing audience.

KATIE ALICE: is a 21-year-old singer-songwriter from Brighton, now based in Leeds. She took up the classical flute and voice at a young age, but was soon drawn to the sounds of Britain’s burgeoning Nu-folk scene of the 2010s, citing influences such as Laura Marling and Billie Marten. Her classical past has shaped her melodies, which she now blends with honest narratives, intricate layers, ambi
ent textures  and delicate guitar playing. Incorporating a loop machine into her live performances, she aims to showcase her production style on stage. Songwriting is an important form of expression for Katie, and she aims to offer a window into her world through her music.
TINESHA KINLEY  – in short, Tinesha Kinley makes girly pop bangers. She combines the perfect mix of moody alt rock and twinkly indie pop. Her distorted guitar lays the foundation for her confessional lyrics to rest upon. Inspired by artists like Caroline Polachek, Fleetwood Mac and Lorde, her gut-wrenching yet playful lyrics take centre stage.

CHLOE NATTRASS: Through the careful craft of captivating melodies and incredibly candid lyricism, Chloe tells her side of every story. Hailing from the North East of England, the 25 year old singer/songwriter details the complexities of love and longing, hatred and healing – not only toward others, but herse

lf too, with the presence of ethereal synths and grooving electric guitars places 80s pop influence at the centrefold of her soundscape.
