Tuesday Night Live: PAIR OF SANDLES accompanied by ROB BAKER

PAIR of SANDLES – DOUG will read some of his own poetry and MARIA will perform songs, original and covers, along with music to Doug’s poetry.

DOUG SANDLE’s poetry has been published in several publications, including Poetry and Covid, The New European, The Ekphrastic Review, The Psychologist,Manx Reflections, Orbis, The View From Olympia -poetry inspired by Olympic Sport, and most recently The High Wolds Poetry Collection 2023

MARIA will also be accompanied by ROB BAKER who plays the melodeon and concertina. Rob plays for Briggate Morris, a couple of local ceilidh bands as well as many good causes.

Maria regularly performs at Heart including acoustic evenings. Over the years she has performed at various local events, private gigs and including outside events.
She brings much expression and a real depth of feeling to all her songs.
