Raised on the outskirts of Glasgow with roots in the West of Ireland, Stiofán Ó Treabhair – “Stefawn O’Trower” – is a fusion vocalist, guitarist and bouzoukist reinterpreting Celtic folk traditions.
Due for digital release on 4th July, his debut single – ‘The Song of Wandering Aengus’ – is an ethereal arrangement of a W. B. Yeats ballad with sensitive acoustic guitar and vocal, complemented by harmonium, viola and ambient electric guitar. His set will feature material from his forthcoming debut album.
