Readings by a different local published poet each month. This month we’re delighted to welcome EMMA STORR
Emma Storr lives in Leeds. She trained in medicine but always wrote poetry for enjoyment and survival.
Her poems have appeared in several anthologies and poetry magazines and
she won both 1st and 2nd prizes in the Saltaire Festival Poetry Competition in 2021.
Publications include ‘Heart Murmur’ (Calder Valley Press 2019) and ‘Offcumdens’ (Fair Acre
Press 2022) featuring 41 poems paired with Bob Hamilton’s black and white photographs of
Yorkshire.
Her new poetry collection ‘This Service Includes All Removable Components’ will
be published by Indigo Dreams in 2023.
