A Palestinian grain miller Aisha Azzam and her husband started their family grain mill in Baqa’a refugee camp, Jordan, 35 years ago. She safeguards the culture by milling grains essential to Palestinian cuisine and passing her knowledge to the next generation.

The film has been called a profound exploration of how cultural identity is preserved through the tangible rituals of food and labor, and a testament to the ways food remains central to Palestinian identity, rooted as it is in history, tradition, and the ongoing struggle for survival and resilience.

Stalls with Palestinian produce.

Tickets £7.50/£6.50 available from HEART reception and online
