Exhibitions
Art plays a central role at HEART. We have three exhibition spaces: the Corridor Gallery, the Café Gallery and the Steve Trattles Gallery. The Corridor and Café galleries are open call spaces for local artists and art groups to exhibit. The Steve Trattles Gallery is a curated space with themed exhibitions.

Corridor Gallery
Mike Sells
September – October 2025
Mike Sells studied art at Leeds Beckett University, beginning with photography and screen printing, later combining the two through photo emulsion techniques.
His work includes digitally produced greyscale Giclée prints inspired by screen print methods, as well as an etched piece featured in this exhibition.

Steve Trattles Gallery
The Green Yard Presents ….
May – 30th September 2025
This exhibition has been especially chosen as our inaugural show by Becky Moore, in memory of the late Steve Trattles who was co-owner of The Green Yard. It features artists who’s work is sold in The Green Yard gift shop as cards, jewellery and prints. It includes work by Liz Samways, Naomi Southon, Sarah Dunton, Carolyn Hird-Rogers, Richard Heald and Cassy Oliphant.
Our Place
October – December 2025
HEART is very much rooted in place. We were founded by local people and run by local people. We love Headingley and Leeds 6. Our Place will be an exhibition celebrating Leeds 6: its places, its people, its history and culture, featuring various visual artists and writers.
