The Jeffrey Hewer Trio is a Leeds-based band taking inspiration from the rich jazz tradition. This incisive group of musicians from the city’s thriving jazz scene play songs from the great American songbook arranged specifically for this line up by guitarist/band leader Jeffrey Hewer.

Their music is influenced by the swinging sounds of the 50s/60s and includes everything from swinging burners to beautiful ballads and groovy blues; with every piece a vehicle for collective and individual improvisations of the band members highlighting tight improvisation style and crisp arrangements.
