Tuesday Night Live: KATIE BILLES and FRIENDS

This evening KATIE will be joined by vocalist GEMMA GATES, violinist JENNI BAILLIE and ROLF BILLES on cello.

Singer/Songwriter Katie Billes started writing in the heart of Scotland where she grew up in Edinburgh. Back in 2019 is where her music career began when she held a sold out launch in her home-town for the release of her debut EP, ‘Sunken Thoughts’.

Since graduating from Leeds Conservatoire, her single releases have been lauded by the likes of BBC Radio Scotland; “her beautiful voice, her writing, her playing… the quality and whole production value is just beautiful…to be able to communicate in a way that is accessible to other people… chimed so many bells with me“. Listeners are offered a sense of reflection with Katie‘s storytelling, honest lyricism and evocative melody lines.
