SOUNDBITES – Monthly Poetry Open Mic Event

Live in the Assembly Bar + Kitchen!

Readings by a different local published poet each month and this month we’re delighted to welcome S’PHONGO who’s a spoken word artist, storyteller and author who comes from Zimbabwe,
currently living in Sierra Leone.

He published his first book ‘TRIALS’, a collection of 21 poems, in May 2022. He has been the lucky poet in six poetry slams from six different countries and has performed in Italy, France, Ivory Coast, Zambia and Belgium, as well as Zimbabwe and Sierra Leone.

In May this year, he was a keynote poet at UNESCO RILAs Spring School.
