Those of you that have been familiar with HEART for a while are sure to know about Apple Day!
Following on from the fun of last year, we’ve decided to run our annual Apple Day again on Saturday the 22nd October.
We will be running a cider festival in collaboration with Assembly Bar + Kitchen and local brewers! There will also be plenty of apple based activities over the weekend such as stalls, games and Morris Dancing and of course Apple Juicing.
Headingley Orchard will have all of their kit with them to turn excess apple crops into juice. If you have any extra apples then please bring them along with you on the day.
Apple Weekend will reach a climax when we welcome back the fantastic Wild Geese for a Ceilidh in our Shire Oak Hall. If you heard The Wild Geese perform at Tuesday Night Live you’ll know how brilliant they are and we can’t wait for them to host a good old fashioned knees up!
Tickets for the Ceilidh are £10 per person and a link will be shared for these soon!
There is no need to book onto any of the other activities over the weekend, we will let you know the timings of specific events and games very soon.
