SOUNDBITES – Monthly Poetry Open Mic Event on Zoom
We present a published guest poet each month. This month we’re pleased to welcome, from the USA – Bryan Franco.
BRYAN FRANCO is a 55-year-old gay, Jewish poet from Brunswick, Maine. He competed with the
Portland Maine Rhythmic Cypher slam team in the 2014 National Poetry slam in Oakland, California.
His poetry is published in the US, Australia, Ireland, and Scotland. He hosts Cafe Generalissimo Open
Mic, is a member of Beardo Bards of the Bardo, painter, sculptor, gardener, and culinary genius. In
November 2021, his book EVERYTHING I THINK IS ALL IN MY MIND was published by Read or Green
Books.

You, now only have to sign-up if you want an open mic slot or haven’t been to Soundbites on Zoom before. If you are not planning to read and have been to Soundbites on Zoom before, you don’t need to complete the form.
Previous visitors to the SOUNDBITES Zoom sessions, will receive the monthly Zoom link by email, which will be for audience participation only. Please make sure to save the link to join us on Zoom on the night. If you want to read your work you will still need to use the sign-up form.
Signing up includes your agreement to use your email address to send you the Zoom link and to keep you informed of any Soundbites related information. We would not make any other use of it or pass it on to anyone else.
No recording would be published without the consent of the participants.
